AMS is currently seeking a driven maintenance/handyman/gardener to join our fast-paced team. The position requires a person that can work alone and has the ability to identify work required and prioritize. This is a position of responsibility with the option to work only a few days per week if you are that way inclined. This is a perfect opportunity for a trades person looking for additional income or returning to the workforce.
The successful applicants will be required to:

- have a current driver’s license;

- have your own tools and equipment;
You will bring with you:
- Experience in a similar role;
- A trade qualification is preferred but not essential if you have proven competence;
- a large range of skills in all manner of home maintenance;
- Proven interpersonal and client relationship skills;
- A willingness to embrace innovation and improvement;
- Flexible approach to change and change in work practices;
- A willingness to improve skills and take an active part in further development;
- An awareness of OH&S practices-strong commitment to safety; and

Your job role will include:
- basic to advanced internal and external home maintenance and repair work;
- general garden maintenance – mowing, edging, pruning, weeding, etc;
- traveling between jobs, often up to 4 times per day;
Your working week will vary in intensity, but you will work in close contact with management to establish a routine which will suit your current schedules. The role will start at casual rates, but you will have the opportunity to increase this to a part-time role in due course.
